Staying in Tuned with One’s Surroundings

California and the rest of the west coast of the United States has always been an earthquake and volcanic hot bed for geologic uptick. Today everything is calm and for the most part has been that way for a number of years. With the occasional movement to keep us all on our toes. The time is now to prepare and gather friends and loved ones around to decide who will have what role and how everyone can make sure that there is organization in a time of great confusion. The odds are that when the next BIG earthquake shakes the areas we live, home or work is where we will answer when people question that dreadful day or night. If you work out of town from where your kids go to school, be ready to make sure that you can make it home safe and if not that someone can look after those close to you.
Don’t run off trying to find a loved one who worked out of town in the first 48 hours. Let them come to you. Always leave markers at home, work, and with family to let loved ones know where you are and have been. Above all else stay safe and have a bug out bag (72 hour kit) with you at all times. You never know when you may need to seek refuge in your cars.
