5.6 Earthquake off Washington’s West Coast

20120819-012957.jpg There has just been a 5.6 earthquake off of Washington’s west coast. More details to come…

This has been reviewed and there seems to be no major threat of tsunami or damage. If there is any major aftershocks we will be sure to mention them and any possibility of danger they may cause. For now here is a map of the P-waves sent out by this earthquake:

(Reuters) – A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck off the coast of the West Coast state of Washington on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey said.

The depth was reported at 6.3 miles and the quake was located 190 miles west of Neah Bay, the USGS said. There was no immediate statement from the U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center based in Hawaii on the quake.

  2. I am really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A few of my blog audience have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

      Glad to hear you enjoy the theme and concepts of this newer site. I have not hear of any issues with this site in different browsers. Glad to hear it works so well with Crome. Constant improvements to keep viewers happy, but nothing really worth noting at this point.
