At 15:13 in S Concord there was a small 4.0 magnitude earthquake felt by some resistance, followed by a few small after shocks.
This come following a major 7.0 earthquake in Nepal that has been reported to have killed more that 6,000 people. The area has still been receiving after shocks in the 4.0 range as of today.
This is also the first felt quake in the Bay Area since Napa was struck by a 6.0 earthquake that caused some major damage last year.
