May 19th, 2015-

WCMNews– The first reports of this earthquake came across as a 6.1 magnitude. Minutes later it was indeed updated to a 6.5 magnitude earthquake. Occurring along a under water ridge in the Pacific Ocean make the possibility of a tsunami. For this to occur enough land mass would need to be released from the ridge to displace the ocean water. Thus generating a potential tsunami capable of reaching the west coast.

Reports of any ocean disturbances from the buoys has yet to be register to the public. Currently there is no threat to any coast and no tsunami warning. More reports to come as updates become available. –WCMNews
